Zwigato is a film that is very relevant to the present world. The story is set in Jharkhand and revolves around Manas, who works in a watch factory but his job was taken away by his manager.
Manas opted to work as a delivery boy for a food delivery service named ‘Zwigato’. Striking a balance between his family and the job he tries hard to earn extra bonuses in order to give a better life to his family. They are a family of five, his two kids, a wife, and a mother who is in bed.
Pratima(his wife) wants to work and support his husband but the male ego of Manas doesn’t want her to go out for work. Later Pratima consoles her husband and goes door for the household chorus. She was a lady who has never gone out for work and the feeling of being independent is making Pratima filled with confidence.
How will Manas and Pratima manage their homework and deal with these humiliations is the core of the story.
