Satish Kaushik Passes away at the age of 66. He was the most loved actor in the industry. 

He was last seen celebrating a Holi bash at his dear friend Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s residence. Newlyweds Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, and Mahima Chaudhary were also a part of the event. Kaushik suffered a heart attack due to which he was rushed to the hospital but that did not have any hope. 

His body will be brought to Mumbai. It was such a sudden demise and is still taking time to process.

Satish Chandra Kaushik got his graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi, and was an alumnus of the National School of Drama.

Satish Kaushik made his first directorial debut through the film Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja(1993). The film had Sridevi as a lead cast. Second film as a director of Kaushik was Prem (1995). Both these films were not successful at the box office but he continued making films. 

1999 proved to be a good year as he got his first hit as a director from the film Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain. Thereafter he added the 2005 film Vaada to his bucket. The film starred Amisha Patel, Arjun Rampal, and Zayed Khan. 

He has also worked in collaboration with Sab TV. He was part of the show, a Great Indian Family Drama. He also played a role in the film Udta Punjab that was appreciated by the audience.
