The story of Life In A Metro film is set in the metro city Mumbai, where six individual stories were Amol (Dharmendra) who is Shivani’s (Nafisa Ali) childhood love interest. 

Rahul (Sharman Joshi) lives in his uncle’s apartment where he brings his girlfriend Neha (Kangana Ranaut) who is interested in Ranjit (Kay Kay Menon) who is unhappy with his marriage and his wife Shikha (Shilpa Shetty Kundra). Shikha’s love interest is Akarsh (Shiney Ahuja). She had an extramarital affair.
