Ghoomer is a film inspired by the real story of Takacs, who was a right-hand Shooter. He won two Olympic gold medals with his left hand after losing his right index finger in an accident that happened right before the Olympics.
This film is taken from Takacs life but it’s not directly based as the film Ghoomer shows the story of a cricketer Anina (Saiyami Kher). She has lost her one hand during an accident and the journey of her being able to beat her disability and achieving success in her cricket career is what the film is all about.
